Are You A Candidate?
What We Offer Placement Options Our Commitment  • Contractor Benefits
  1. What are my placement options?
The Rosen Group offers contract and permanent placement opportunities to all candidates, and candidates have the option of being considered for either, or both, types of placement. Positions cover all areas of Human Resources - Recruiting, HR Management, Generalist, Compensation & Benefits, and Training & Development - cross all industries, and extend to all position levels.
  2. What is your placement process?
All potential candidates for both contract and permanent positions are first interviewed by telephone. Face-to-face interviews and a thorough reference and background check are conducted by request prior to meeting the client. Our thoroughness helps us stand apart - we are offering our clients the reassurance that they will work with candidates of the best possible caliber and quality.

It is important to emphasize that we typically work on an exclusive basis with our clients - they work only with us to fill their positions. We limit our candidate submissions for each contract or permanent position to ensure quality, matching skill sets, availability and interest in the position. Your background and experience are then presented to the client who at that point may also request an interview with you.
  3. What is contract work?
Many of our assignments are contract positions, generally for Recruiters, Technical Recruiters, Generalists, HR Managers, Training & Development positions, and Benefits Administrators. Candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years of corporate HR experience. Typically the positions are full time for 3-6 months and require the work be done onsite. Contract work is ideal for the HR Professional who wants diversity, challenge, excitement, variety, independence, flexibility and choice.

Contract work is "hands-on" work. Clients expect contractors to operate with a sense of urgency, and be willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Our contractors are hired not only because of their specific areas of expertise, but also for their professionalism, communication skills, entrepreneurial spirit, and client-focused approach to work.
  4. What about gaps between assignments?
Gaps are possible between assignments but experience has shown us that they are usually minimal and that our assignments are long term. We require a notice period from all of our clients, giving you and The Rosen Group ample time to begin discussing your next assignment.
  5. How is contract work different from permanent work?
The world of work is changing. With layoffs, down-sizings and re-engineerings, "permanent" can be an illusion. Because the length of a typical assignment is 3-6 months, extensions to existing contracts are frequent and continuous assignments are likely, the difference between "contract" and "permanent" is less than you might think. What is different is the range of challenging assignments you could receive in a variety of environments.
  6. What if I am offered a permanent position with my client?
It is the ultimate compliment when a client wishes to hire one of our contractors - and it has happened many times. We welcome these occasions, and maintain an open dialogue with you and the client when these opportunities arise.
  7. What about permanent placement?
In addition to contract placement, we also offer human resources permanent placement. With The Rosen Group, candidates have the option of being considered for contract and/or permanent positions at any time.
  8. How is the Rosen Group different from a temp agency?
We are not an agency. Retention of staff is critical to our continued success. All contractors are also employees, with a formal benefits program that includes paid time off, health and 401k plans. Incentives include financial awards for new contractor and contract referrals, management potential, and regular bonus/increase potential. We also offer flexibility in your choice of projects and scheduling.
  9. Who reviews my work?
Reviews are regularly scheduled for each employee of The Rosen Group, although for contract assignments, our clients supervise each contractor directly. Evaluations for each assignment measure the effectiveness of both the contractor and our organization.
