Case Study -
       Short Staffed

Company Name: Pearson Education

Situation:
Unfortunately, we had a Human Resources Manager who did not return from maternity leave and one who was planning on taking maternity leave.

Challenge:
We were going to be short staffed at a time when we had an extreme backlog of corporate job evaluations due.

Solutions:
The Rosen Group identified us three people to interview. They handled all the pre-screening and legwork. We wound up with good, responsible people for our company and we are very happy with both of them. Both were very qualified, had relevant experience, worked in similar environments. They were the right fit.

It was very important to find someone quickly, due to the staffing situation. We really needed a quick turn-around. The Rosen Group was very responsive. They listened to what we needed and then went out and found it. They were great!

At first, the cost for The Rosen Group was higher than we had anticipated. Our previous experiences with temporary staffing agencies resulted in less qualified candidates. Even though they were less expensive, the result was unacceptable. The Rosen Group delivered highly qualified candidates and this was a major difference. It is true; you get what you pay for.

Results:
Having a real Human Resources Manager helped us deal with the backlog of work – she was an extra set of helping hands when we needed them the most. More importantly, she contributed to our team’s overall improvement of the HR management function at our company.
