Company Name: GMAC Commercial Mortgage

Situation:
Our HR department was three decades behind the times. We were unable to help our employees with the latest HR techniques, and we needed to bring the entire HR management practice at the company current with the latest thinking.

Challenge:
We needed HR professionals and we needed them very quickly. Specifically, we didn’t have time to hire younger, less experienced people and train them. We needed people who could hit the ground running and really impact the redesign of our HR practice and the policies, procedures, and processes required to support our employees.

Solutions:
The quality of the professionals The Rosen Group delivered were impressive. Their level of subject matter expertise was superior. Carl and Gwen had an excellent professional demeanor and approach to their jobs. They both came equipped with excellent oral and written skills.

It was extremely important for us to fill both vacancies quickly and The Rosen Group team responded accordingly. We also felt that the investment was competitive and very cost efficient. We were able to start Carl and Gwen as consultants, and then, after they have proven themselves, move them in to permanent positions. This “temp to perm” option afforded us the opportunity to thoroughly explore candidates before they became permanent hires. This was an attractive arrangement for us.

Scott personally offered a wealth of expertise while working on our project. The Rosen Group has developed a “pipeline” of HR professionals, which they can draw on quickly and efficiently. They are a true asset to our company.

Results:
We were able to bring on board two very talented people full-time and they quickly delivered qualitative results. Carl reorganized the administration of our benefits and created a formula and plan that resulted in a $3.5 million savings in our corporate benefits program.
